| The
Snobyke is a track-driven unit with a front ski said to give it the handling ease of a
small cycle. If any of you have ever ridden one of these models, you know it's alot
harder than it looks. The track is driven by a single sprocket, and is powered by an 8 hp. two-cycle engine. Other feature include an all steel frame, ball bearing full floating suspension system, torque converter and over-sized braking system. Capable of speeds up to 30 mph, it stands 34" high, weighs 97 lbs. and is 12" wide. Manufactured in 1971 by Sno-Byke, Inc. of Minneapolis, MN, the sled can fit in the trunk of a car. |
